Remembering Chris Scinto

· FONUR

Friends and teammates remember one of the toughest Maddogs.

Today we lost one of the toughest in our ranks. Chris Scinto passed away in his sleep. Please keep his children and his family and friends in your thoughts.

“For those who knew Chris, he was a great guy, honest to the core and not a bad bone in his body.”

— Rob Cleary

“Chris Scinto was a fierce competitor and a gentle, happy soul all at once. You could not find a nicer guy who welcomed all new Maddogs and made them feel a part of the rugby brotherhood. He will be missed dearly.”

— Brian Carroll

“You couldn’t find a better man. Nothing dampened his spirit and he was always there for friends and teammates. You’ll be missed, but never forgotten.”

— Robert “Ogre” McCarthy

“Chris was an all-around great guy. One of the first people I met at Maddog rugby, and he went out of his way to welcome me. Haven’t seen him in over 30 years, but the bond made back then on and off the rugby pitch stands today.”

— Jim Grace
