Remembering Keith "Bubba" Salome
The criminal era lost a true giant.
The Maddog criminal era lost a true giant. Keith “Bubba” Salome lost his four-year battle with cancer on Saturday, September 21.
Bubba was a massive, stoic prop who brought true leadership and a violent intensity to the field, and helped carry his criminal-era teammates to the 1994 Northeast Championship, the 1995 Beast of the East Championship and the 1995 and 1998 Beanpot championships. He leaves a huge hole in the Maddog community. Please keep Bubba’s family in your thoughts.
The current undergrads could use Bubba’s aggression and determination this season, after losses to UMass and Yale. It would be great to see everyone on campus on Saturday, October 19 for the match against Binghamton, to remember both our recently fallen teammates, Bubba ’00 and Tom Riordon ’90.
