Giving Day 2026, and both clubs head to the CRCs

Bracket for the RNE 7s Division I-AA qualifier cup, April 2026, won by Northeastern

Both clubs qualify for the CRC tournament. The men open their sevens season in Ireland, and the women win the first CRC qualifier hosted at Northeastern.

Giving Day is back. Northeastern has made it easy to give to several funds at once this year: in a couple of clicks you can support the men’s and women’s team funds, the men’s coaching fund and the Wallin Endowment.

Both clubs have worked hard this spring to qualify for the CRC tournament and elevate their programs.

The reigning NCR 15s D1-AA champion women’s club hosted its first-ever high school clinic, and a CRC qualifying tournament, both on Northeastern’s campus. The women hosted the first-ever sevens CRC qualifier at NU and went undefeated on the day, conceding only 22 points in the pool round and shutting out BC and Michigan to win the tournament.

The men kicked off their sevens season by traveling to Ireland in early March to play several matches, including a 22–24 loss to the UL Bohemians RFC under-20s, an Irish collegiate team based in Limerick, and to watch Ireland play Wales in the Six Nations.
