Maddogs power to a 2–0 start
Wins over URI, 41–16, and UMass, 37–17, set up a big test against Boston College.
The Maddogs improved to 2–0 with a strong 37–17 win over a well-coached and hard-nosed UMass program. The week before, the Dogs beat URI 41–16 at Parsons in the first Liberty D1A Conference game for both clubs.
The true test of the season comes this Sunday, October 8 at 2pm at Parsons, against a tough BC side that beat URI 34–17 and lost to Harvard 31–15 on September 2. Many eyes will be on this game nationally to see who is legit. Let’s get out to Parsons and cheer on the Dogs!
