Maddogs head to 7s Nationals
Liberty Conference champions, the Dogs head to Tucson for the D1 National Sevens Championship.
The Maddogs are on their way to their second-ever Division 1 Sevens National Championship. It’s an incredible achievement to represent our alumni, our school and the Liberty Conference at this top-level tournament as one of the few club teams in the country to qualify.
The Dogs fly to Tucson on Wednesday, May 22. Pool play is Friday, May 24 (Mountain time): Arizona at 10:40, Ohio State at 1:40 and Arkansas at 3:40, streamed live on FloRugby and ESPN+.
As a true club team, we compete with a fraction of the resources of some of our opponents. Flights alone were over $700 a player, and gifts to the Men’s Rugby Club Operating Fund help cover flights, hotels and vans. Thank you in advance for your support. Let’s go, Maddogs!
