Opening win on the new field at Carter
NU 63, URI 3, in the Maddogs' first-ever match at Carter Playground.
The Maddogs celebrated a solid opening-week win in style, beating URI 63–3 in our first-ever match on the new field at Carter Playground. The Dogs showed some flexibility in the back line and grit in the forwards, but there’s still a lot of work to do. To top off a great night, the B side also won, with at least six brand-new players seeing their first action.
The A side has a bye this weekend, while the B and C sides travel 30-strong to Bryant. Next up at home: Fairfield on Saturday, September 28, then BC on Friday night, October 4, both under the lights at Carter.
