Six new Hall of Fame inductees

Six inductees for the Hall of Fame class of 2022, a new athletic director who goes by "Maddog", and the fall schedule.
It gives us great pleasure to announce the six Maddogs voted into the Northeastern University Men’s Rugby Club Hall of Fame, who make up the class of 2022:
- Robert “Ogre” McCarthy ’89
- Tim Cummings ’90
- Rudy Machacek ’88
- Jim Grace ’90
- Nino Balduzzi ’01
- Chris Frazier ’14
There have been so many outstanding contributors to the Maddogs over the years: every player, coach, club president and academic advisor. These gentlemen (if we can call them that) have stood out on and off the field. Read more about each of them on the Hall of Fame page.
Welcome, “Maddog” Jim Madigan
George Johnson and Dave Wedge met new NU athletic director Jim Madigan at the varsity athletics golf tournament, and he informed them that his nickname is indeed “Maddog” Jim. Jim is an old friend of Maddog rugby and very familiar with the program. Congratulations, Maddog. We can’t wait to work with you!
