· FONUR

Fifth at the Free Jacks' Monumental Sevens, then third and second at the Liberty Sevens at Fairfield.

Monumental Sevens, Quincy. The sevens squad finished fifth at the Free Jacks’ Monumental tournament: wins over Fordham (7–5) and UMass (12–7), and a 28–0 loss to Kutztown. The fifteens B side also had a nice 17–10 win over UMass, with tries from Tuch, Vigliero and Carter.

Liberty Conference Sevens, Fairfield. Fairfield used home field to showcase their deep, up-and-coming program, winning both the first and second-side divisions. Our second side looked dominant in pool play with only one week of sevens practice, beating Dartmouth and Iona, then beat Fordham in the semi before losing to Fairfield in the final for second place. Our first side lost a close one to Dartmouth in the pool, beat Colgate and Iona, fell to the champions Fairfield in the semi and beat newly varsity Siena to finish third. The second side also shut out the Dartmouth B side 14–0.

There’s one more tournament, in Saratoga on April 15, as we wait for a hopeful invitation to the CRCs in Washington, DC.
