Ed Tubridy, Coleman Jackson and Alvaro Borrego head to the World University Rugby Invitational in France.

Coach Ed Tubridy’s reputation has taken him to the international stage. He’ll be head coach of the Atlantic Coast All-Stars, representing the United States at the World University Rugby Invitational Tournament in Bordeaux, France, from September 21 to 28, against a New Zealand collegiate side, Cape Town, Sydney and Oxford universities. It’s a huge honor for Ed and a testament to what he has accomplished. Two NU players, Coleman Jackson and Alvaro Borrego, have been named to the initial roster.

Alumni Mark Phillips, Andy Hermo, Dave Wedge, Cal Hennessey, Eric Graham and Chris Wicken have joined an organizing committee to help deliver an outstanding result in Bordeaux. The team has already received support from National Collegiate Rugby, the Liberty Conference, the New England Free Jacks and several NOBs, and we’re planning an alumni event in Toulouse on September 28 during Japan vs Samoa at the World Cup.
