The 40th anniversary weekend
Tailgating at the Free Jacks, a dinner at the Alumni Center and an alumni match in the dome.
Alumni Weekend was a raging success! The men’s club celebrated 40 years on St. Patrick’s weekend:
- Saturday, March 16: the NU Rugby Club tent went up in the parking lot at Veterans Stadium in Quincy for a tailgate before the Free Jacks played NOLA Gold, where we mingled with the Atlantic Coast All-Stars.
- Saturday evening: a buffet dinner and shenanigans at the NU Alumni Center across from Carter Field. Dress sharp and ready to sing!
- Sunday, March 17: an alumni match in the dome at Carter Field, where some alumni bashed some undergrads before heading out to celebrate their Irish heritage.
Next up, the undergrad sevens are in Quincy all day on Saturday, April 6, competing for an automatic CRC bid at the Monumental Sevens, the top collegiate tournament in the Northeast. Giving Day is April 11.
