Second place among 64 club teams, and a new effort to update the alumni contact list.

Thank you to everyone who supported the clubs this week. We thought we had the top spot locked up, but ultimately came second for an extra $1,500, not bad against 64 club sports teams with over 3,000 active members. The men were ahead by 50 donations with 40 minutes to go until midnight, when the running club must have finished their long run for the week and a hundred of them donated $5 each to take the lead with ten minutes left. OK, it’s out: we’re still a little bitter!

Despite that, the men raised $14,601 for the club. The women missed out on a prize but finished a strong fourth.

We’re also updating the club’s alumni contact information. If you have thoughts on how we can improve alumni outreach, events or communication, please reach out. And look for us on Facebook and LinkedIn under FONUR and Northeastern Rugby Alumni Networking.
