A big win to finish the league season
The Maddogs took a season's worth of frustration out on Buffalo, 67–7.
After tough losses to Dartmouth (27–15) at home and at Nazareth (43–29), the Maddogs finally played up to their full potential and took a season’s worth of frustration out on Buffalo, 67–7.
Both Men of the Match were especially aggressive. #11 “Mean Ol’ Maddog” Sam Moyle destroyed every ruck he was involved in and plowed over Buffalo defenders for both his corner tries, and #6 “The Argentinian Arrow” Teo Vigliero led every line charge on defense, at one point making six tackles in a row. Way to represent, men!
It wasn’t enough to make the playoffs this fall, but there’s one more chance to show the Liberty Conference this team has a nasty bite: a Liberty Bowl match on Saturday, November 5 at Fairfield University. The B and C sides also have a couple of matches in Boston to finish the year.
